My theme is “Human Characteristics”.   Today I chose “Jackal”. 

Should I say or not

My jackal mind is to blame

Now that she is gone

It’s not always the fickle behavior of a person but sometimes one’s (Jackal Mind) desire to seek to gain advantage from the difficulties of another, which leaves that person with no choice but to leave us as we are even late to decide whether to own up our mistake and express our unconditional regret for it.
